Due East

Featuring Erin Lesser on flute and Greg Beyer on percussion,   Due East is an exciting and dynamic duo that has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe at venues such as the International CrossDrumming Festival in Poland, the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, the Yellow Barn Chamber Music Festival in Massachusetts, Western Illinois University New Music Festival 2006, PASIC 2001, and PASIC 2002. Due East actively promotes new music and has commissioned several works. They have premiered works for Wet Ink Music in New York City, Columbia University Composers, and the 21 st Century Schizoid Music Series at Cornelia Street Café in New York City. Dr. Greg Beyer is currently an assistant professor of percussion studies at Northern Illinois University.
