Todd Sucherman
Drumset Clinic
Throughout the 1990s, Todd Sucherman established himself as a "first call" session drummer in Chicago as well as being involved in several bands and projects that included all genres of music. From 1993 to 1997, he could be heard on thousands of television and radio spots and many other recordings. In 1996, he replaced Styx drummer John Panozzo and embarked on the enormously successful Styx "Return To Paradise" tour. After relocating to Los Angeles, platinum and gold records followed with Sucherman still touring the world with Styx over the past ten years. The multi-platinum band has averaged 125 shows a year for the last seven years in a row. Sucherman still finds time for other projects and recordings, most notably with music legend Brian Wilson. He toured with Wilson in 1999 as well as played on two of his recordings including Gettin' in Over My Head , which featured Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Eric Clapton. Sucherman has recorded, toured, and/or worked with such artists as Spinal Tap, Eric Marienthal, Brian Culbertson, Peter Cetera, R Kelly, Billy Ocean, Michael McDermott, David Hasselhoff, Tommy Shaw, Bob Mamet, Jim Brickman, and Bobby Enriquez.
