Jim Bailey Gary Rudolph
Jim Bailey has served as instructor, and was eventually promoted to associate caption head for the six-time world champion Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 2002 to 2005. He has also worked with other drum corps including the Blue Knights, Phantom Regiment, and Blue Stars. In 2005, Bailey co-founded, instructed, and composed for the Indianapolis Independent Percussion Ensemble (I-2). His percussion ensembles have captured multiple Indiana state titles in both concert and marching class as well as a WGI title in 2002. His clinics and performances have been seen across the United States and abroad. Bailey currently serves as educator relations manager for D’Addario and Company, where his daily responsibilities include educator and artist relations duties as well as product development and marketing tasks. Gary Rudolph is currently a band director and percussion instructor at Ben David High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a proud graduate of both the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in music and Miami University with a master’s degree in music performance. Rudolph is an active percussion arranger, composer, and instructor. His experiences include four world championships with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps and multiple state championships with high school marching bands and competitive percussion ensembles.
