As a drumset artist, Grant Collins continues to push boundaries and limits for creative and unconventional drumming. His approach defies stereotypical drumset methodologies with his innovative, solo compositions. Collins has received recognition for his recordings Live @ The Tivoli-The Official Bootleg and Primal Instinct and Dogboy. His drumset consists of almost eighty pieces with twenty-six drums, thirty-four cymbals, and eighteen foot pedals. Currently, Collins is in the process of completing his doctor of philosophy degree in composition and performance. His active involvement with the Queensland Arts Council and Education Queensland has provided quality educational workshops in schools throughout Queensland and Australia.
