Stephen Primatic

Primatic

Dr. Stephen Primatic is currently an associate professor of music at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. He received a bachelor of music degree from Wilkes University, a master of music degree from the University of Miami, and a doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Georgia. In addition to teaching, Primatic also maintains an active performing career. He is principal percussionist with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra in South Carolina, and he also performs with symphonies in Savannah, Charleston, and Jacksonville. He is the drummer for the Darius Rucker Big Band. Primatic also has several musical publications with Meredith Music, drop6 media, Inc., and Music for Percussion, Inc.
